WHAT ABILITY FOUNDATION IS HERE!
We launched What Ability Foundation with an all-abilities experience at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta on the 3rd of December, International Day of People with a Disability (IDPwD, bringing together 100 recipients and their support workers to play on the field alongside a team of professional and semi-professional athletes.
A further 100+ people joined us for formalities at our corporate event to listen to our speaker panel and meet our inspiring Founder, Steve Dresler.
An enormous thank you to all our Friends of the Foundation, honoured guests, guest speakers Elle Halliwell, Sean Keppie, Cheralee Kemp and Kai Sakakibara, our hardworking volunteers, our much-valued Board members and all the service providers who helped make the day such an enormous success. Also, a huge thank you to the teams at AT Events, Venues Live and CommBank Stadium for hosting our inaugural launch. We could not have done it without you all!
Founded by former Parramatta Eels player, Steve Dresler, What Ability Foundation is a new registered Australian charity with a mission to unlock community experiences for people living with a disability or diminished capacity and their families.
The Foundation partners with experience providers nation-wide across sport, live entertainment, adventure, hospitality and dining to provide ticketed experiences for not only the individual, but for the whole family!
We look forward to enjoying your continued support into 2022 as we endeavour to unlock more community experiences across the country for more Australians living with a disability and their families.
