What Ability Foundation is on a mission to unlock experiences for people living with a disability or diminished capacity and their families. Our vision is to create an inclusive community across Australia and our goal is to provide ONE MILLION experiences to people with a disability!
WHO WE ARE
What Ability Foundation is a charity established by former NRL player, Steve Dresler, to fund and facilitate experiences for people living with a disability or diminished capacity and their families across Australia.
We are a passionate team who believes every person should have access to the community, because an inclusive community is a community for everyone.
WHAT WE DO
We partner with experience providers across sport, live entertainment, adventure, hospitality and dining to unlock community experiences across the country.
Individuals can apply for ticketed experiences and funding for themselves or the person in their care. It can be as simple as a day out bowling or as epic as a family trip the zoo or water park!
WHY WE DO IT
We’re easing the financial pressure on people with a disability and their families when accessing their community. Often parents are unable to work and pressure on household budgets means they cannot afford to access community events or activities.
Parents tell us that despite the challenges their child or family member may have or their unique needs, access to the community opens their world. It helps put smiles on faces.
